Our Winged Stags Tapestry boasts a centuries old scene recreated from an original 15th century Royal Coat of Arms. This version features a black background providing an intense contrast to the other colors woven in the scene. This historic tapestry now hangs in the Museum of Antiquities in Rouen, France. A trio of mythical winged stags is depicted, a single creature holding the royal flag in the middle of a fence area while the other two stags are leaning in to enter. A pair of lions prowling on the outer edges. Two castles are shown in the upper two corners. Imported and woven in Belgium from cotton, viscose and polyester blend. The tapestry has a lined back and tunnel for ease of hanging.
