History: Kiosk and Flowers is a French woven jacquard wall tapestry. The artwork is an extract from an 18th century painting from France's most renowned botanical painter, Pierre-Joseph Redoute. His work was patronized and highly prized by both Marie-Antoinette and Josephine Bonapate. The background is a depiction of the shaded gardens of Trianon in Versailles. This tapestry is a companion piece to #9238, Bouquet at the Gazebo.
